First action

Turn the key before looting

The van can fail in different combinations. The current task list is more reliable than carrying a generic pile of vehicle parts from the first house.

Power dependency

Battery faults hide information

The developer notes that a dead battery can disable van electronics. Restoring it may bring the radar and other decision systems back online.

Where each repair happens

Open the front compartment for the fuses, oil reservoir, coolant reservoir and battery. Tire work happens at the affected wheel. Fuel is filled at the van's fuel point. The on-screen task state should confirm completion; do not rely only on the object animation.

Repair tool rules that are actually confirmed

  • Tire: replacement tire, toolbox and scissor jack.
  • Battery: replacement battery and toolbox in cross-checked gameplay; the official devlog confirms batteries and tool requirements as part of the repair system.
  • Fuses: replacement fuses. This guide does not invent an extra tool requirement that the official material does not state.
  • Fluids: fuel, oil and coolant use their matching containers and may require enough volume to satisfy the task amount.
