Patch and fix board
This board preserves the distinction between fixed, balanced and still under investigation. A YouTube “ultimate fix” is never treated as official proof.
Acid-rain chance was reduced on Training and Normal. Umbrella size and unlock level were reduced, its protection grace period increased, voice-chat base volume rose, report options expanded, and several streamer-unfriendly connection effects were changed.
The developer released three launch builds in roughly three days: 0.34.16, 0.34.19 and 0.34.23. Fast patching is positive, but the long known-issue list means stability advice must stay versioned.
Still under investigation
“Known” means the developer listed the issue. Workarounds are shown only when the developer supplied one or the action is a low-risk session reset.
Disable Global Illumination or launch in Safe Mode while the developers investigate.
Restart the game before the next run. No official permanent fix is published yet.
The issue is acknowledged. Avoid presenting VPN or networking changes as a verified fix.
Use windowed or borderless mode if accessible; wait for an official display-settings fix.
Host the lobby when targeting an achievement until the trigger bug is fixed.
Update to the latest build and use Safe Mode if crashes continue. These paths remain under investigation.
This build fixed crashes when players were caught by tornadoes and when a tornado changed state mid-game. It slightly reduced Acid Storm duration, added a microphone activity indicator and introduced a profanity filter for session names.
Its known-issue list included no-lobby and Steam-invite errors, disappearing items, AMD/graphics crashes, ragdoll clipping, walkie-talkie problems, missing push-to-talk and whiteboard abuse. Several remained relevant to later builds.
The first launch patch addressed crashes tied to the CB Radio microphone, Doppler Radar weather reports, wind, consumables, kicking players, weather logic, damage cooldowns and thrown darts. It also added a temporary Safe Mode that disables unstable graphics settings such as Global Illumination.
Region-lock and invite problems are acknowledged, but no official permanent networking fix is published in 0.34.23. This guide will not recommend VPNs, port changes or security exceptions as if they were confirmed.
